Does anyone know if the theme tune is a rip-off of another tune? It could be a generic BBC tune but I can't helping thinking I've heard it before. Maybe Bob Marley?

It was written by Howard Goodall especially for the show, but I see what you mean. It does have the strong up beat typical in Marley's music.

There's more than a little hint of Marley's "One Love" in there, if not some others as well.
