Nerve to call me coloured
Very obscure question here really and I'm sure nobody will know but I'm looking for a song with the lyrics;
"When you're born, you're pink. When you grow up, you're white. When you're ill, you're green. When you go out in the sun, you go red. When you're cold, you go blue. When you die, you're purple. And you have the nerve to call me Coloured"
Now I know this is a quote from Malcolm X but it's used in a song. A band called Tongue Forest did it but the version I'm looking for is in a dancey kind of tune with the sample "Tell me , tell me what is goin' on?". I've tried and tried to find out what this song is and what version if it is the Tongue Forest one. If anyone knows please let me know - you would really be helping me out.
