Dishes from dishwasher feel horrible to touch. why?
4 Answers
It has been many years since I have used a dishwasher so I am a bit out of practice. I have bought 2 in 1 kind on tables fairly expensive one's finish I think but I have tied other brands.
The box of tablets just says everything is included in the tablet just pop it in the machine and start it going.
But once finished and dried the dishes, mugs and glasses feel terrible to touch, kind of rough and dry not smooth and silky when I hand wash them. It is as if the wash is too abrasive.
Am i doing something wrong shound I be putting salt or conditioner in the machine or something???

You must put salt in the machine in the salt recepticle - You Must, You Must, You Must !!
The salt action in the tablet is not enough to soften your water and does it after it's been introduced to the wash chamber - which is far too late. The salt softens your water. I have used all kinds of tablets and gel etc and always go back to powder. A dishwasher is designed to wash by attrition and a bit of soft grit in the powder works for me every time. Also you need rinseaid a tablet with pwder and rinseaid should be OK if you are putting salt in the machine, but I always buy rinseaid seperate too and get great results.
The other problem could just be loading the dishwasher and making sure that both arms can rotate freely. I also use a cleaning product that sits in the cutlery basket - they do wonders.
