Playstation 3 mugging update PART 2

Cont:.......
I have seen on E-Bay that quite a few people are selling PS3's and some look dodgy to me.. there are some that are claiming they bought 2 and now need to sell one! And there's even one guy who claims to have 'several' PS3's!!
This is probably where my brother's one will end up!!
I agree with Spaced, i would have carried something, even deoderant/ perfume to spray at them so i could escape but when you are in the thick of it your mind is all over the place...
I read afterwards that Virgin Megastores and HMV were offering FREE TAXI RIDES HOME!! as well as goodie bags and breakfast and even FREE 48inch plasma tv's to the first 100!!
Should they had known that this is what would have happened i'm sure they would have waited and ordered online, knowing that at least that you don't have the worry of anything going wrong, it is delivered straight to your door..
Luckily my brother had put the receipt in his pocket and not in the bag as he had double checked his purchase, which was the console, 2 games and a HDMI lead that he had been convinced to buy as it was a deal. He even paid 30 odd quid for damage protection!!
The manager of the store just shrugged his shoulders as my mum returned to the store after the incident!!
I don't want to go national with this, just a private resolve would be great, ie; replacement of all that was stolen.
This happened just outside the door of Selborne Walk, Walthamstow, East London!! The scumbags were hiding in a corner.. Th epolice said they most probably had some one planted inside the mall who alerted them that the next 'victim' was heading their way!!
Even if my mum and brother had succeeded in holding onto the goods they would'nt have had them for long as they realised after that the automatic doors which they had exited would'nt open after the incident

Hiya stressed out I just wanted to send my sympathy and best wishes to you, your brother and your mum after your horrible experience. It defies all human decency what happens in our world today. I'm so angry that the scum of the earth think its their divine right to take anything they take their fancy to while the rest of society have to work and save hard to accomplish all that they can. Take Care
Thanks to all of you for your kink responses... My parents don't have home insurance so they can't really do anything on that side. I will write a couple of letters to the store that sold the goods and the management of the shopping centre.
David, i have forwarded your e-mail address to my brother so he can e-mail you directly if he decides to take you up on the story... he is reluctant however as he does'nt want to divulge personal information in case he is recognised and the assailants come after him...
In the meantime thanks again.
