Fiat ABS light
The ABS light keeps coming on, if the car is not restarted, it changes to ASP, and then ESR. Then it kept stalling, and an engine fault registered on the dashboard - This was intermittent, they changed the spark plugs!! It was still not resolved then on the recommendation of Fiat, the fiat garage replaced the ABS Control unit, now it is undriveable, as the light comes one very 100 yards. We are two months down the line, I dont have my car, and they have no idea what the matter with it is. The latest is that after a diagnostic check it shows a faulty brake light!! Any bright sparks out there got any ideas, as I am fast losing confidence in the garage, as if the computer doesnt tell them what it is, they dont know what to do.

I have had it back today, fourth attempt by garage, they assure me it is ok now - it better be, as we are going away for the weekend in it!! - it appears that they didnt re configure the new abs unit when they fit it which caused the problems. It is my fourth Fiat, and other than a few electrical problems with the windows, have never had a problem before. However, my biggest annoyance is with Fiat Head office, first they told me I could have a like for like courtesy car, then they told me I couldnt, and had no empathy for the problems I had. Apparently I was talking to their office in Italy!!
