What was the name of General Custer's horse? I know it wasn't Comanche (that belong to a soldier called Keogh, who also perished at the Battle of the Little Big Horn).
Also,am I right in saying Marengo was the name of Napoleon's horse?

Blimey, I knew Napoleon was a bit of a cheerful french frog but I didn't previously know that he'd had Desiree at Waterloo.
Actually, Custer had two personal horses at Little Big Horn on June 25, 1876... Vic and Dandy, however he was riding Vic throughout the battler while Dandy was with Reno's pack train and received some minor wounds at Reno's hill. Vic was either killed or captured...however, among the Santee Lakota the warrior Gray Earth Track has, historically, been credited with the capture of the horse. His fate is unknown while Dandy was returned to Elizabeth Custer and lived out his life near his boyhood home near Monroe, Michigan...
Iheard it was called ''Keep still you bguger.''
Comanche was the only surviving horse of the battle.
