Hula Hoops!

How are Hula Hoops made? I can guess the ingredients - but how do they make them into hoops? I have looked everywhere for this answer - so any help will be gartefully received!!

They're processed potato, which is pulped and made into a paste. It's then passed through a die to achieve the hoop shape, much like the process used for making pasta shapes, and cooked immediately.

The machine squeezes out a tube of the potato mix which is repeatedly chopped off as it emerges, so forming the hoops. All the tube varieties of pasta are made in the same way
