I did search AB on this, albeit very swiftly, with no results. The current advert is where the dad is with his two young daughters. At the end he reminds them that he used to be in a band. Is this true? If so what's his name, what's the band's name and what did he do in the band?

It's an advert. I'm 100% sure he was't ACTUALLY in a band. in fact this advert winds me up because the dad says 'Mr Kellogs' when clearly the brand name is Kellog's so his name would actually be Mr Kellog. No-one respects puntuation these days.

The man in the Rice Krispies advert was in a boy band called 87' Rich street, London records and he was a backing singer and dancer after that for Dead or Alive for 1 year and he did lots of promotions and dancing.
