how much do celebs get paid for ads
i wanna know how much the average celeb gets paid for an ad. ross kemp is in an ad for life insurance cover and we were wanting to know why he is in it and how much money does he get paid.

I know a few years back, maybe 15 or more, I read that a 30 second ad during Coronation Street costs over �30,000 to place so you can bet it costs much more now. If you consider an ad such as the L'Oreal ones that are shown worldwide, AND have some one who is famous the globe over, then I can guess that they are either tied into a contract of millions or as a one off paid a million. Even a 5" square ad in the Sun costs �5,000 so I wouldn't hesitate to say that Ross Kemp got paid more than �5,000 for a TV ad

In the 1970's we had a very small time actor ( he was never in anything!) living next door. One day, he announced he was playing the barman in a new Guinness advert with the toucan and he was moving to buy his own house!! He didn't quote figures, obviously, but he said the money was...brilliant and much better than acting!
