What is the difference between Diet Coke and Coke Zero?? I have noticed that since Coke Zero has been out Diet Coke tastes discusting!! I think that Coke Zero tastes just like real coke! But then again I haven't had any sugar for at least 4 years so i probably cant remember!!
People told me that Coke Zero was caffeine and sugar free but its not, it contains caffeine.

Diet Coke was, and is, made to a different recipe from the original 'red can' Coke.

Coke Zero is made to the original 'red can' recipe, but uses aspartame and acesulfame potassium for sweetner instead of the sugar contained in the original.
..when they launched zero in this country a coke rep told me it's their version of pepsi max and it was directly targeted towards the 25+ MALE market...apparently blokes find buying diet coke too wimpy, but these days blokes are becoming more health concious than ever before, thus there was a gap in the market , (wich Pepsi had the monopoly on!) .... I have drank diet coke since it was launched and have to admit zero is more tasty....
re previous postings,

i suggest you get your taste buds examined

coke 'zero' the great taste of coke - definitely not!

do a blind tasting
zero versus trad coke

you might still prefer one over the other
but the great taste of coke zero certainly isnt!!!!!
..ah but helpmetoo...the question was DIET coke verses zero...I have not drank traditional coke for over 20 years ) so I relly can't compare it to zero).... mind you I took a swig by mistake once and could feel the sugar clinging to my teeth for dear life.....

Try Diet Pepsi 100% Better
yes, it was created as 'bloke Coke', as it was thought Diet Coke was selling to females but was seen by males as too girly. That masculine black colour! But obviously, it's always going to be a matter of taste
You'd be better off with ordinary Coke, because although it contains sugar, the diet stuff contains aspartame which 's said to produce cancer in rats. OK - so you're not a rat, and you probs don't drink a lot of the fizzy stuff anyway, but it's food for thought.
