lots of (upper class *****) throw lots of expensive food around at each other in a resturaunt. lobsters, cake etc
i felt angered at the imagined cost of this stunt, is this what our tv license is funding?!
then the cleaning bill itself makes me annoyed. hmmmfh.!

I have complained officially to BBC,but they justified it as Light-Hearted. Missed the point I think!!

Maybe you could complain to producers of Hollywood films where cars get trashed in chase scenes, because hey, those cars could have been sold and the money spent on food for the porr, blah, blah, blah.

afraid i have to agree qith 100$ here. Loads of programmes on tv show food being cooked, eaten, thrown around etc. Do you suggest that every programme stops this due to the fact that people, not just children, are starving elsewhere in the world?

The difference being that Hollywood films are privately funded whereas the BBC is publicly funded.
