Apparently they cried in the dock, ah bless. Scum, cowardly vicious scum, brave enough in a 20-strong gang to stone a man into a heart attack. The youngest ever person to be convicted at the Old Bailey. I hope they go down for a long long time, and good job on the authorities for pressing this case through.

Bet they hardly get any sort of sentence. Community service or something because they were so young etc. etc. etc. Sickening. Don't know about you but when I was their age and younger I knew exactly what was right and wrong.

I wouldn't think for one minute they regret anything other than what may happen to them.

I heard that a witness said they were laughing as they ran away from the attack. They certainly were not laughing in the dock! They also said that the judge had to tell the parents to control the children in court - where do these people come from?
I bet that any "regret" they feel is certainly not aimed at the victim's family, only that they had been caught and convicted

Isn't this so terribly sad.? Here we have children, who ought to be children, but are not. Somehow they are instilled with an unthinkable mindset. of bullying, torment and worse Their parents don't know and possibly don't think about, or care, what these kids are doing when they are out of sight -and the result? This poor man is dead. What the hell is going on with our young people? It's easy to call them scum - and they are - but it's what they're brought up to be, so who is responsible?

And yes, they should go down for a long time. If their parents have relinquished responsibility which they obviously have, it is clearly already too late. Apparently the judge was obliged to tell the parents to keep these kids in order in the court. Shame on the parents! A man is dead - and poor kids - they never had a hope.

They were not tears of remorse i bet. More like tears for the fact that they may possibly spend time inside.
Don't know why they should think that they will get a custodial sentance. Whats the likely hood of that. And if they do they are not likely to do more than a year or so.
About time the kids and the parents were shoved in a cell together for a long stretch.

I've just been reading an account of the incident and subsequent trial on the Sky news website, however there's no mention of just what punishment the scum received.
If I was a judge I'd let em of lightly with a hundred years each. In fact if I was a judge I'd want to give anyone a hundred years if they caused even minor injury or worse and even repeated, habitual causing of distress or public nuisance have a nice ninety nine years to do. Haaaaaaah................................................................ oh no, daydreamin' again!

Agree with everyone, the tears were not for anyone but themselves and their sentence shall be too light.

When I think what that poor mans last few minute on earth must have been like, being taunted, embarassed and intimidated by a group of children, while he's out with his own son doing normal, admirable father/son activities, it breaks my heart. His poor son who was there will never ever be able to get ove witnessing such a thing.

I believe parents should be made to take responsibiliy for these kind of incidents. the children should be punished, they knew what they were doing was wrong, but parent of suchpeople should be monitored, all they will do is bring up more scumbags and it shouldn't be allowed.

At that rate there'd only be law abiding, happy, contented well behaved, well adjusted, polite people left at large.
