Film 4 BMW

Does anybody know what model the classic bmw is in the film 4 commercial break, one advert shows what looks like an early 3 series (white with the blue and red stipes on it), but it is the plain white much older looking car in the other ad I was thinking of, It looks like a 1950's car, chrome handles etc. the car is sitting in an old barn.
