samsung phone battery

I just replaced my phone battery for my samsung Z400 and although I fully charged it on Saturday it has now gone down to 2 bars even although I've hardly used it, it has been on standy since the weekend.

Can anyone advise if it could be the handset itself that could be draining the battery rather than the battery just not holding its charge?

samsung batteries are not the best. make sure you switch off your bluetooth when you are not using it as this uses the battery and also listening to music and playing games. i have had many samsungs and have learned from experience.
