What adverts can you really not stand, when they come on the telly?

I dont like the philips adverts, as the ding dong sounds like a doorbell. And Edith Bowman's tweedy little voice on the comet adverts.

So then, which adverts do you really hate?

I remembered another one. The camera one, the olympus one where the little brat knocks it about. I mean, its not going to be the same camera he gives back to his mum is it? How daft.

Or what about the Woolite ones, where they say 'oh new outfit, no new detergent' as if that comes up into a conversation anyway. Its not detergent but 'safe-tergent'.
So annoying.

someone has mentioned the bailies ad, freaky. and can someone please explain what the hell the Thornton's ad is about. Why has that kid got the wierdest hair I have ever seen, got a 1970's jumer on and short trousers? or am I just thin=ck and not getting it at all?

Yeah I agree, The Spice Tarts ad is not only rubbish but they were said to have been paid a million each by Tescos

BTW - none of those ads come close to the Radion ads from some years ago, nor that ridiculous one that crops up during Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares with the Jagger impersonator - shows how poor the ad is, can't even remember the product.

Oh, and by the way - that Cillit Bang ad works really well just for that reason - all you have to do is mention Barry Scott and you all know immediately what the product is!

I have a vague memory of an annoying and sumwhat embarrassing advert.I think it was for DFS.It was a bloke running toward camara in a super hero outfit and his tadger was floppin from side to side.lol.I never knew where to look.

I didnt like the DFS advert that had the really corny lyrics 'the sofas, there all coming at ya' and the bloke sat holding the cards..
