I have a new PC with the Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 (2.2GHz) and Windows Vista preinstalled, and before I set it up I want to know whether it is worth removing Vista and running XP instead? I know it will run much faster that way especially for gaming, but can anyone give me any advice or tell me otherwise? Thanks =)

Personally I wouldn't touch Vista except for the fact that I'm paid to.
Reports are that some Vista operations (which are already slow) get slower after installing SP1.
Conversely, reports are that XP SP3 offers speed increases which make it even faster than Vista.
but does vista have a tellytubbies theme?

........ what else would you touch if someone payed you to ?
;-O

(last time I asked that question I got six months!!!!)
Obviously,it depends how much they paid me...
