Morning all....and what a morning!
By 8.30am today all the family had gone apart from me and my eldest boy (17). He was planning a study morning at home until his mate called for him at 9am and off they went. I'd just settled down with a cuppa when I heard footsteps and the sound of drawers being opened, coming from upstairs.
I knew my neighbours were out so I phoned 999 and hid in the shed clutching a bicycle pump. Two cops arrived and found the intruder cowering under my eldest's duvet.
It was his new girlfriend (who we hadn't yet met). He'd sneaked her into the house last night....and then when he got up this morning he'd forgotten about her.
The cops weren't impressed, the girl was hysterical and I may be arrested for GBH after I get my hands on my son. He's (wisely) still out but I feel like strangling him.

that is CLASSIC!

although, how did your son 'forget' there was a girl in bed with him this morning?
Bet the girlfriend might want to strangle him too!
Nice story to tell at the wedding I think. !!

I've spoken to him on his mobile, but told him to not come home til I calm down.
He got up for breakfast as normal so as not to arouse my suspicions. He thought I was going out early so he would have the house to himself and planned on going back to bed.
When his mate came round with his new car, he forgot about the girl and off he went.
brings back memories of how I used to sneak in my bf.

My mum used to bring me a cuppa every morning, so the bf had to hide behind the wardrobe!!

Then I would sneak him out when I was going!!
lol!

I think the girlfriend won't be the 'girlfriend' for much longer! I'd hunt down and kill any man that would do that to me! lol

the poor girl must've been so scared when the police turned up!!! the poor mite!

The girl was hysterical when the cops burst in on her.

I'm feeling a bit guilty now because I told the cops to "get that trollop out of my house" and they took her home.
why do i get the feeling your son no longer has a gf

and what were you planning to do with the bicycle pump?
Question Author
mcfluff, the answer is - I don't know! I grabbed the first thing to hand in the shed.
I must have looked totally stupid because I was still clutching it when the police left!
kids eh? you can't live with em, you can't bury em in the garden! I would have been really peed off to start with but would have laughed about it later, hopefully when you have calmed down you will see the funny side ;)
Classic!! Loving the word trollop! Not used enough these days, in my opinion! x
I thought when you heard a noise upstairs in an empty house you are supposed to creep up the stairs slowly, heading straight for a serial killer hiding behind a door. That's what happens in the movies!
OMG,

i hope he doesnt dare show his face for the rest of the day!

I think its perfectly understandable that you had a go at her when the police arrived, you mustve been terrified!

Thank god it was all 'innocent' though.
i can just see the charge sheet - assault by inflation

i wish i could be a fly on the wall when your son and gf meet up
ground him
Question Author
He's already grounded until he's an OAP!
You may remember some previous posts about him.
There's the time he was sck on his new, expensive bedrom carpet and rather than clean it he cut the vommitty part of the carpet out.
Then there's the time I cooked a 60 joint of beef on a Saturday for a Sunday buffet lunch for my in laws wedding anniversary. My son & his mates came back from rugby and made the whole joint into sandwiches.

Roll on autumn when he's off to Uni.
That's a hilarious story Mrs o. I'm sure you'll see the funny side eventually. I do feel a bit sorry for the 'trollop' though and I don't envy your son having to come home later either.
Sounds like you'll miss him when he's gone.
Can I ask how old is he?
Question Author
He's 17.

How he's lived to reach this age without me killing him is a mystery.
