Agnus Castus, How Often?
1 Answers
I recently started taking Agnus castus for severe PMS. I usually get very bad mood swings, bloated abdomen and painful breasts, but it's the mood swings which affect me (and my partner) the most.
In the first week of taking this supplement, my whole mood was different, I felt calmer and happier. I purchased my Agnus Castus from Holland and Barratt, but I find they never really give you any detailed information about their products.
Does anyone know if I should be taking these capsules indefinitely, (on a daily basis) or just for a couple of weeks leading up to my period?

Strawberries and peanut butter are good for moodiness, cramps and fatigue.
Oats are a good antidepressant.
Bananas improve your mood and make you feel alot happier.
A good B-complex supplement taken in the morning, should also help improve your mood.
A really good B-complex in a bioavailable form is called Advanced B-complex from AOR Europe. Always buy quality when you are buying supplements. I'm personally not impressed with what H and B sell. If you look at their labels you can tell its cheap stuff they use and thats why their products are cheap and usually 2 for one.
Pycnogenol soothes menstrual pain. It has just gained a US patent for the reduction and discomfort associated during your menstrual cycle.
One of my favourites. Drink red wine it soothes PMS cramps and slows down uterine contractions.
Another good drink is called Yarrow tea. It helps to relieve muscle cramps instantly.
I will be interested if my suggestions help you.
