White Girl

I've recently watched a great film -White Girl which was shown as part of the "white" season on TV.Does anyone know what the girl who became attracted to Islam was saying to her stepfather when he was goading her? She kept repeating a phrase, it started "shadda illa" or similar. Thanks. x

Just watched this tonight, and put the subtitles on during the speech. After googling the first line 'ashhadu alla' I think it is a prayer.
Really enjoyed it the young girl is a brilliant actress

Bless you TT! At last- an answer! Yeah, I gathered it was a prayer, just wondered what it translated to. Fantastic film, really enjoyed it. Just watched Dirty Sexy Money- ditto that! x
