Hello
In the Glasgow area:
The Isle of Bute Jazz Festival is on over the May bank holiday weekend, so if you like Jazz, or fancy a try at it, you might think of paying it a visit. It is very popular, so probably most of the accommodation on Bute will be booked up, but you could stay on the mainland and get a ferry over to Rothesay where many of the Jazz venues are located.
Have a look at www.butejazz.com and see what you think.
Sorry, I cannot do whatever it is you have to do to allow you to click on the website from here. You'll have to type it out.
Have a good one.
