sky sports subscription

i currently have sky sports but not really gonna watch it much over the summer, if i cancel my sports subscription and just have the basic package then upgrade again when the football season restarts will i have to restart a 12 month subscription again cos i dont know if i want to be tied down for another year. (i've had sky sports for 3 years already)

You can change your package on-line, all the info you want is on there.

i think you can only upgrade online not downgrade.

Ring them and ask - I've swapped and changed my subscription quite a lot over the years, and I can't recall being tied in for any period of time, but their staff were always helpful and well-informed (once I finally got through!) so they'll give you the info you need.
