BMW ad from 1980s-background classical music--what is it?

BMW ran a TV advertisement in the 1980s--I am fairly sure that it ws the first few years of the 320 series--the car was on a mountain road--it had a great classical music piece in it- I have never been able to identify the piece or find any recording

Hello pumpkin92 I wonder if the piece you're thinking of is Ma Vlast by the Czech composer Bedrich Smetana. Ma Vlast is often translated as My Fatherland. Even if it wasn't that Ma Vlast the piece is well worth listening to - beautiful music. Hope you enjoy it. Poppyday

Thank you for the suggestion, I am farly sure it is Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, but done by the BBC phiharmoinc orchestra.-Lead by Stokowski
