Can anyone remember what air tickets were like back in 1986.My memory tells me that they were more robust than the flimsy carbon paper-like tickets of today, more like thin card.Has anyone a definitive answer, please?

They were basically the same, so far as I remember. The individual coupons were backed with red carbon Weren't they folded along the long top edge rather than the short left edge? Perhaps they seemed more substantial because there were more attached pages of notes about the Warsaw Convention.
