That's the only lyrics I know and I'm not even 100% sure about the 'getting in the way' bit, but whatever the song is I love it and dont know what it is!

It is loud/dancey and a male is singing - please help!

I think the song is by the futureheads. Its called "trying not to think about time".

No, it's not the Futureheads. I am looking for the exact same song myself, but I thought it was "standing in the way". Further, I think I remember that they sing something like "you're (something) number one".

Anyways, I love the song! Having googled different combinations of the lyrics I remember for two hours, I obviously type something incorrectly, so I really hope someone are able to help!

Hey well I found out what the one I was looking for was - an extended mix of Anyway You Choose to Give It by The Black Ghosts, if you get their MIxtape cd you'll find it in the last 2 tracks I'm sure :)
