That new orangina advert is just plain strange, animal heads with human like sexy bodies, its just weird !

oh yeah, betterman - that scootaah one is awful, but don't you think the other is worse - you know, the one where he's "chatting" to mike at picture or whoever. He has got the kind of face I want to smash in! My god how dumb do they think we are? Do you think ANYone who watches them, truly believes they are being allowed to eavesdrop on a real conversation?
When I shop, I won't buy anything that is advertised in an annoying way. Except for birds eye - can't stand the ads but like the fish fingers.
Thank goodness our mortgage is with nationwide - i like their adverts!

The confused.com adverts and the Daz adverts...Grrr... So annoying....

Definitely the one blanx mentions. I know it's for some deodorant, but I have no idea which one as I never let it stay on my screen long enough for me to find out. Truly hideous.

Also, any ad where the company is too tight to make a proper British version, so just use a foreign one with English dubbed very badly over the top. That one where the car salesman pays the couple for buying a car is the latest.

Oh, and the Ocean Finance one with the swimmers, if only because it's on every 10 flamin' minutes!

Halifax ads, especially the one with the little dweeb "singing" I'm Into Something Good.

The new Coke one where the bloke phones his mate on the bus and makes him listen to him pouring out his Coke and gulping it as loudly as possible. Excessively noisy eating and drinking makes me feel violent at the best of times. Add in the smugness factor and I just want to stab him in the eye with a biro.

It's a shame we can't say: "I don't know what it's for but it annoys me"

Ah but I actively avoid the product of my annoying adverts. I've just only recently finally bought Cillit Bang, I will stop again if I Barry Scott returns!

It's the DFS advert that annoys me at the mo, put me right off what was a great song too.

Making an annoying ad does seem to make people remember the product, but it doesn't necessarily make us buy or use it. Indeed, in some cases it may even stop people. Lakitu seems to be on a Barry Scott boycott. ;-)
