What is the name of the song from the advert of Smallville on Channel 4?

I remember watch an advert of smallville on channel 4, it was a female singer. the music was rock.

in the advert i can see a blonde singer with a mic and stand with the band in the background.

the advert is old and i think it somewhere between season 1 and 2

I think it was by Hole or Courtney Love but am not sure what song it was.
