I don't know if anyone knows the author Joan Lowery Nixon, but hse has 2 books out Land of Hope and Land of Dreams. There are 3 friends who meet on the boat going to America. Land of Hope is about one of the friends, and Land of Dreams is about another friend. But is there a book about the third friend? I was just wondering. I don't know if anyone will be able to answer this.

"Land of Promise", which is Book 2 in the "Ellis Island" trilogy. The two you mention are Books 1 and 3 respectively.
