Hi leggy. hope you're feeling a bit better now?
Nope - not watching the TV of course. What's the point of the prog?
the powers that be always say the children are better off with the mothers, and we all know what a load of B***ocks that is .

Dunno just a drama.
Little biys just discovered his mums a junkie, and hes just discovered her friend dead in her house.

You're gonna get depressed leg. Enough misery for one night. We should all go and find something less grim to finish the night.....
Question Author
Not really rabbs.
Thankfully i and my family have never ben involved in drugs or anything like this.
But i think there are plenty families out there it affects.Probably some on here at the moment.

Think its just the way of the world tho.

Yep. But 2 'way of the worlds' in under 4 hours is more than enough.

Innit?

Listen to your mam!!!
yeah im off to bed now , didnt watch it , but can understand , nite leg X my eyes feel like pi**holes in the snow .
God help us if it is "the way of the world "

Sorry Leg......could you and rabs take a look at my thread.....below \/ ...Ta
Hello rabbity. well - any depressing threads, and i'm going to find a more cheerful one.
Whether a documentary or fiction, these things are all too common, aren't they? I don't think any drug addict's able to care for a child properly, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they don't love them. I think children from these sort of environments should be looked after away from the home, until the parent tackles their addiction, and becomes fit to have the child back again. Not all of them'd return home, but all children deserve a chance in life.
Question Author
its sad
to think that though its a drama
its probably far tamer than reality

Icey - we don't expect our tvs to deliver light entertainment all the time but tv watching is far too heavy a lot of the time.

It's easy to get quite down about things out there we can do little about, or even know about till it arrives in the living room via the box.

We're left down, frustrated and angry.

And yes, we can only hope those in the know, and in a position to help victims, get their act together and the sooner the better.
There's an ad once an hour over your link leg.....

just caught the last line or 2....

'Live above the influence'........
I agree rabbity. Just replied to leggy's post about that poor little boy who was tortured by his mother's so-called bf. Now THAT depresses me, because there's nothing we can do about it, and again - there are others out there who're probably doing the same sort of things. What the hell's wrong with folk?
Question Author
ffs now the wee boys tryin smokin heroin to see whats so great about it

....tis a pity my remote control doesn't work from here!
Well.....in real life, if they see their parents doing it, they'll probably follow suit.
I fear something awful will happen to the boy......
