Hi, I use Vista and pay my credit card bills online. One of them asks me to verify my details using Mastercard Securecode which I am registered for and I have been paying my bill using this OK. However recently as soon as I key my bank details and it tells me I am to be transferred to Mastercard Securecode I get the message that the internet site cannot be found. It must be something on my computer as I can use the site OK from my work one. I have tried deleting temporary internet files and reducing my security/privacy settings to the minimum but this doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any ideas what I can try next? Many thanks

Do you have the same browser and browser version at home and work?
have you rung your card's costomer support line?

it could well be a lockout at their end - if not they'll know how to enable whatever code is required to run with your setup

Yes I have rung both my credit card and the bank and they cannot help. My browser at work is Internet Explorer 6, at home it is version 7
Odd

7 has increased code control for security
My bank and card sites have always worked perfectly
DON't say which bank .... but is it one of the big mainstream ones?

in tools | Security and tools | Privacy you have level settings ... default and lower ... have a play

I don't like to recommend firefox ... but you can try it without committing (or risking your existing configuration)
download this .... it won't change your existing settings

if it works ... then it's your decision whether to change
