I've been given a bottle of bacardi

not had bacardi since about 1981, however, as i recall it used to give me a headache!!! does anyone else get a headache from Bacardi???

I got spectacularly drunk on Bacardi once and haven't touched it since! Stick to the occasional glass of wine now

Cant touch bacardi...reminds me too much of being 16 and being kissed in the front seat of a morris minor by a horrid bloke...only went out with him cos he always brought his nice friend along.. heheh

i've updated the thread in P Lakitu, and she is quite upbeat after the replies i've read to her, she has spoken to someone at the hosp and they've said if she feels she cannot cope with the pain to go in but she says it is only mild. I'm quite worried but have to take a steop back cos she's got her own parents supporting her and advising. not much more i can do but wait . thanks L.

Dot - I have reached the discerning age where I don't care about any of these fancy drinks. Give me a bottle of Islay Malt any day, with an occasional glass of vintage port to relieve the boredom !!

I'm just off to have a glass of 10 yr old Talisker (OK I know it's not Islay, it's from Skye, but I have been to the Distillery there)
