Can anyone remember the advert where the punchline is "its frothy man". It's driving my husband and me crazy trying to think!

If it's the one with the bear, then I think it's Cresta pop.

Definitely cresta, so I have no more to add on that one. But - (there's always a but, cos my mind wanders terribly..) your post did remind me of the R.Whites Lemondade advert - the secret lemonade drinker. someone told me once that the ad really referred to the people who drank their own wee, and it wasn;t really promoting lemonade - it was a subliminal message to urine-drinkers. How bizarre was that?
I have stuck to schweppes or the supermarket-s own-brand ever since - & i think that ad was first shown in the 70's when I was quite naive & thought R.Whites must have contained urine.
sorry - lowered the tone already - on an adverts thread of all things. I engage fingers before I engage brain.
well there's a thought-for-today!
engage them where:0(
as i said sara, my mind does tend to wander. Always has done, but as I get older I just wander all over the place... it does bring up some interesting thoughts though ;-)
Cresta? It was NEVER called Cresta, surely.

I remember it as FRESCA!
