The Italian melody used in this ad was very popular in Europe a couple of years ago. Can anyone tell me the name of the singer?

Many thanks. So it is Spanish and not Italian. A little more research has unearthed the name of the original singer, Ana Torroja although it seems that Sarah Brightman made a cover version that did not compare well.
