Bleached hair gone Orange HELP

I have just attempte to bleach my hair but it has turned a yellow/orange shade and its awful. Can I apply a Clairol Nice n Easy blonde hair dye to sort it out or will it damage my hair even more...Please help

I think you should get it professionally done as well, you could just make matters worse!

dont know if this will help but:
i was talking to my hairdresser and a woman had dyed her hair bleach blonde and when in the pool, it turned her hair green. he told the woman to put on tomato ketchup and smother her hair and leave it in for a while, the next day after a few goes (i think a few goes) it was back to blonde again. worth a try right?

Ketchup only works to counteract green, not orange

your hair requires stronger peroxide than is available at retail shops. Only registered salons are able to access it - so have professional coloring in a salon.

I don't know why tamborine keeps telling people that you can't buy hairdressers strength peroxide... You can get everything from hairdressers supply shops there is one that my daughter uses in Central London called Sally's you get literally everything you could possibly need there...Any member of the publioc can go in and buy - its not like drugs you don't need a prescription..My daughter was a hairdresser and often goes to Sally's to buy peroxide and tints..I've slapped all sorts of things like clairol on my hair when its not the colour I want...and I'm not bald yet..plenty of conditioner and a good cut sorts it out...

Although some of the answers here do seem a touch primitive I really would recommend going to a professional hair salon to correct the damage!

Yes you can go in to Sallys and buy the chemicals yourself but it would be like sitting you in front of a piano and asking you to play Mozart ! It not going to be pretty. It takes years of training to become a hairdresser. However the majority of people think that they can just apply any old colour and it'll be fine and clearly this isn't the case!

Another point.... if you were going to a reputable salon for your hair bleahced they would not use anything higher than 9% peroxide when using bleach. It would be highly unprofessional to use 12% and really no need. I would much rather have a controlled situation of maybe two applications of 6% and a toner than risk using 9 or 12%!

The difference between a novice & professional is ignorance. As salon owner & worker my advice is professional; I color hair everyday. This is the strongest developer/peroxide from Sallys; 30v! You do need stronger as I said & only available to salons.

Tamborine... Sally's strongest peroxide is 12% =40 vol... If that isn't strong enough she can get 60vol on Ebay as we speak.. And as I said NOT only just available to salons..

have checked ebay - no results; I would be v.surprised if they retailed it.

It would be folly to use at home as it does need specialist supervision.

What kind of salon is using 60 vol with pre-lightener... professional suicide! It would be much safer to apply a couple of applications of 20vol rather than risk the results gained from using anything higher...
