Chewing gum trousers!

How do i get chewing gum off trousers? I left a single chewing gum, the little extra ones, in my work trousers and my granny washed them without spotting the gum. Now its all stuck! I've had them in the freezer all night but it hasnt made a difference! Any suggestions?

    lay  the garment  out  flat, placing  brown paper on top of  ' chewing gum  area ', and gently  iron, ( med/heat ),,,,,,,, chewing gum  will stick to paper.

Put the item of clothing in to the freezer - the chewing gum will go rock hard and you should just be able to pick it off!

If the freezer didn't work, try peanut butter.

Try vinegar; soak entire area and leave overnight, then carefully pick off. It's worked for me.
