i think so...lol...well im in scotland...and in my teen years i was a chav..we call it a ned here (stands for non educated delinquent apparently)

and i knew it was wearing neddy/chavvy clothes but it was the in thing...i found myself quite wanting to be...even my mum would shout at me when we fell out that i was a ned hahah

nowadays though i do see people from school. and im like WOW ur so neddy/chavvy..by this age i dont think they do!! its normal...its the way they speak here....like a drawl- its awful!!! xx

we haven't named it it was too indescribable but we think its the resut of chavs from different areas mating

i knew when i was asking for the tracksuits and the gold jewellry (oversized) haha that i was a ned and that the way i behaved was "neddy"...but u kinda get away from it...well i did...as i got older and got a job after leaving school because i didnt want to speak or dress that way anymore! ....x

And tink, all these alleged acronyms given as origins for ned and chav are urban myths. I suppose by association they have become relevant though.

welll he has the right clothing/excessive trashy gold but the headgear wasn't the trad basebal cap it was sort of like a beanie with ears, i don;t think that was the effect meant but that's what it looked like and he had sungassess perched on the top and then he went a completely threw me by putting the juke box on and roger whittaker and ub40 came out...... oh and he drank baileys

his mate though was a proper chav looked a bit like rodney though

theres a halarious website made up...scottish one describing all the different neds u get...they guy who made it trawled through websites....(all the different gangs across glasgow had their own sites it was the IN THING) haha.....funnily enough my then boyfriend was featured! **CRINGE** ahahaha

the site is halarious if u can take a joke....i think theres alot of issues sayiing Non Educated Delinquent....i mean for all the way i was acting...i was educated haha and i didnt behave toooo badly- i mean i had the underage drinking down...but if my mum had caught me or id been rude to an adult she would have killed me!!!!! and when i was having my sneaky fag (i dont smoke and never did- it was the one u stole from ur friends mum) i still would hide it from an adult! haha not like the guys n girls i see these days who drink n smoke freely in the streey underage! at least i hid!! hahahahah x

though....i DO still wear velour tracksuits...which my friends in england think is well chavvy...haha mabye i am still a half ned...i wouldnt say no to the odd squeaky dance music tune either.. :0P

ps these tracksuits are around my house or if nipping to local spar...not like to a wedding or party haha! x
