If you like that, you wanna check out The Black Keys - especially the early stuff, the Big Come Up, and Thickfreakness albums, and particularly the The Moan EP. The track 'The Moan' will be right up our street: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwyvwpBnxjk
Also, Howlin' Wolf ('Killing Floor''s incredible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHgCxZ0wc9k); Seasick Steve's first album 'Doghouse Music': (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi_0k3hzNS4); John Lee Hooker's 'The Healer'; Boo Boo Davis's 'Name Of The Game' (This song's from it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHYh-lNd4Rg)... man, there's loads - go forth and discover!!!

Try Muddy Waters. Agree Seasick Steves great, bought my lad his cd for xmas, he's also pinched a tape I got x amount of years ago, called "the best blues album in the world ever"
Not normally a fan of compilation albums but this is a good one if you want to see what sort of stuff you would like. Just checked on play and the tape I had with about 16 tracks is now available on cd with about 30 tracks!

I bought a Blues compilation box set about 10 years ago, and it's still the best compilation I've seen. I've just looked on Amazon, but it's been deleted now so it's just 3rd party sellers offering it. There's one listed on eBay though, brand new for £10... that's a BARGAIN. I paid £30-odd for mine! It's got every kind of blues you could imagine, from earthy roots stuff, right through to the bluegrass style.
Here's the eBay link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk...=TL100107213002r26868
I'd highly recommend it.
