I went to buy an 8 pack from Tesco and I was knocked over by the price, £12.50! Even a four pack costs £9.50. Are we just paying for the likes of David Beckham to have his picture in the ads? The price seems absolutely scandalous to me. We guys should boycott the fancy Gillette and Wilkinson products and just buy those 10 pack razors for £1. They might start to get the message then. What do other guys think?

it's a case of supply and demand, they know the majority of men will use them, same as women for shaving if they don't wax !
it is the same as sanitary protection, they have you by the short and curlys...pardon the pun !
Mr Funny uses the 10 packs.

But before I use to buy razors and was astounded at the price of them as you still needed a razor to insert them into.
if you were to ponder the question, "why are razors so inexpensive?", you'd have your answer. (for the same reason printers so cheap and ink is so expensive.)
Agree Calvados, the whole thing is a ripoff. I usually buy the disposable Razors as most of the time I use Electric Razor instead.
The ones advertised on TV are too dear. The joys of shaving !!
Toilet rolls are bl00dy expensive too
The item which ups my shopping costs when I run out is the Oral B replacement heads....£16.00 for a pack of 4!!
I agree entirely Cal.
I use Gillette Fusion and I look around for offers, that include another razor.
They always work out cheaper, pro rata.
I bought a pack in Boots just before Christmas, which had 16 blades, moisturiser and razor.
If they can do this once, why not bring the price down in general ?
Bulk buy blades off ebay and save heaps...

Sorry !
Meant to say,it only cost £20-00.
LOL NoK !!!
I still use a Gillette contour - 10 plades £5.50.

Next time they advertise a razor don't buy it stick with what you have, they "might" look at the cost to the consumer.

Same with petrol if you blow out the most expensive they will soon bring the price down.

On QI they sated that you didn't need gel/Foam because water is more viscouse. The I read the only reason you use gel/foam is to keep the water on your face.

So I keep my face wet and no longer use foam same shave not better not worse but for some reason less cuts??
