there is a song from the 50s or 60s about a young man taking a girl to a dance when the date is over he takes her home as he pulls away he notices she left her sweater on the car seat so he goes back and knocks on the door the father answers the door and the young man says I am returning your daughters sweater she left it in my car and the father responds my daughter is dead today is the anniversary of her death can anyone help me find the name of this song pleasr.
