touch screens aren't all they're cracked up to be. I'd say if you want a touch screen get an iphone they are the only ones that work well. I've just got a nokia 5530 and its rubbish slow, pain to update, touch screen is very cumbersome .. stay away!
I think the problem is it costs for a decent touch screen so if you go cheap you'll have nothing but problems. a lot of these phones seem quite good on options or when you first get them but after a couple of months they start to fall to bits and won;t work properly.
If the phone crashes (which they do, after all they are just small computers) then you are really in it as you cant access the keypad to dial. I wont bother with a phone that doesnt have a keypad in future unless I get an iphone. Ive got an ipod touch and they are the business easy to use, reliable and easy to update.

Blackberrys are good smart phones if you want something with great functionality, not much in the 'fun' stakes though.
if you want a good touch phone then you get a HTC NOT the Iphone!

the Legnd and the Desire have the best touchscreens around just now and are also teh most powerful phones you can buy!

also my legend is a right sexy piece of kit!
I've got a Nokia X6 and I love it - I've had loads of different phones over the years and this is by far the best.
