OMG, is it me ? but why do societies 'misfits' gather outside a hospital entrance, OK, so they have appointment between their fags, they swear, spit and do all sorts of things, I feel sorry for the medical staff, it isn't just my local hospital either, I have seen this in others too,
btw this isn't half as interesting than the bob v NMs thread...LOL

It has all come about Bobbi since the Smoking ban was introduced. The smoking ban was brought in too hurriedly. If there was a smoking room set aside for the smokers they would not have to congregate outside Hospitals and Pubs etc.

They wouldn't do very well at York Hospital, as you cannot smoke anywhere inside the hosptal grounds, not just the building, and it's a fair walk to the road.

That's supposed to be the case at our local hospital craft - but no-one, including the staff, take any notice.

It always amuses me (not in a funny way) that you see patients out there with drips still attached and oxygen tanks, puffing away on a fag....
