As I don`t go out very much due to illness, I like to watch TV a lot, but when I switched on ITV4 to watch a programme I noticed in the top left corner a notice stating the `Network charges apply`. Does this mean although I have all programmes, except sport with Sky, that I am charged extra with ITV4?

Are you sure that the programme wasn't inviting you to phone a number for some reason?

I've never come across 'Network charges apply' in any other context than telling a viewer that they'll be charge at their normal phone rates for calling the advertised number. Further it seems to make no sense whatsoever in relation to the provision of ITV4 (which is a free channel on both terrestrial and satellite platforms anyway).

Thanks Chris, but `ll have a look at my bill very closely when I get it.
I'd be inclined to agree with Chris, there might be a phone-in coming. We are having trouble down here in SE Kent with the ITV Channels, they keep pixillating, we think it's the hoary problem of interference from the French channels as they go digital.
