Compensation advert

Sorry but here is another one.

This time it is a radio advert, for one of these compensation claims.

The guy says "basically I was working under a truck, when the jacks slipped and basically the full weight of the lorry came crashing down on my back"

The 'Basically' were his words, not mine, but regardless of that, if the full weight of a truck came down on his back, I think he would have been crushed to death, not praising the payout he got.

Wouldn't Health & Safety have something to say about not having axle stands in place?

I mean 2-ton ones are available at only £14.99 from a famous shop who seem to totally sponsor the Dave satelite channel. Not that I checked of course.

Or the woman who slips on the wet floor and says, "The first thing I thought was, would it be expensive to claim?".

Jeez, my first thoughts would be have I broken any bones, did any one see me look like a fool and silly me for being so careless. Not, how much can I screw out of them!
