Oh I dunno, these soaps are full of unplanned teenage pregnancies, maybe in the middle of them is the best place to educate about contraception. Personally I wouldn't let my teenage daughter watch any of them.
personally in my opinion the best way to educate a girl about the perils of early motherhood is to make them look after a baby (supervised) whilst all their friends go out and have fun.
the showed it earlier than thatin hollyoaks break. I think its great though, people not only need to think about contraception but STD's. And I like that its shows all couples, young, old and homosexuals
Seems quite sensible to me, given that the people in the offices next door to mine are working which secondary schoolchildren to try to avoid teenage pregnancies.
I think it's fine to show an advert for condoms at any time of day, It wasn't sexual or in your face at all, you see worse in Emmerdale I'm sure of it. I did wonder why the old couple about to go at it on the table would be using them though? Swingers, open relationship maybe?
HC341 and boxtops. I had absolutely no idea. I am really taken back by that information. I knew there was a lot of dormant syphillis accounting for mental health problems amongst those able to get promiscuous during the wartime years but had no idea about that nugget of information. You learn something new everyday.
On the back of the buses round here, they have an advert saying "What's in your pants?" which then gives the contact details for a helpline for STDs. Causes me some awkward moments when I get stuck behind one of them with my just-learning-to-read grandson who slowly and carefully reads it all out, he's only 6 and really does not need to know all this just yet.
