RAC Membership quote - any good cheaper alternatives?
Just got my renewal letter for RAC breakdown insurance membership - single/roadside & recovery/ - it comes to almost 100 quid!!!!
What other companies do you use...what would you recommend which would be as good as RAC but much cheaper?

The Post Office gave me fully comprehensive cover for £200 which included a year's free RAC cover. It's not just the roadside service either; it includes the relay service, hotel accommodation etc. (The only thing not included was the home start service. I opted to pay £20 extra to have that added on).
If that isn't suitable for you, take a look at what Autonational Rescue can offer you. I was with them for many years (and only left because of the inclusive deals offered by car insurers). I had to call them out several times and I was always satisfied with their level of service:
