Old love song with silhouettes of skeletons whose arms flew off...

Does anyone remember the song/artist of the video I'm trying to describe?
I remember little more than liking it: melancholic 80sish artist not band.
The video had the silhouette of a man with a quiff and guitar and some skeletons. After each verse/chorus or at least a few times in the song there was a held chord with xylophone accompaniment during which the skeletons' arms flew off and came back at bit jazz hands.
It is inextricably linked to Wicked Game by Chris Isaak and Female of the Species by Space in my head.
