Homepage adverts

Anyone know of a homepage that isn't covered in adverts.
I've got msn as my homepage but it's covered in adverts some of them flashing, they really get on my nerves.

The simplest solution is use a blank page as your home page. (That's what I do).

Otherwise it would help to know what you want to see on your home page. Are you seeking news

It's not just on the page, the adverts are at the top at the bottom, down the sides flashing on the page. At the moment it's covered in adverts for confused.com.Is it to do with settings or does everyone have them?

Then change your homepage ... you don't have to go to msn.

Firstly, most people don't use MSN anyway.

Secondly, a lot of people here get rid of the majority of adverts, from many sites (including this one) by using Firefox as their browser, with the AdBlock Plus add-on installed. So even if they viewed the MSN site they probably wouldn't see the ads anyway.

The reason I use msn homepage is so I can check my mail on hotmail. If you use something like google or one of the others, how do you get your emails?

If you mean the ads here, then use AdBlock plus ... no more annoying ads anywhere.

You must click somewhere to get those emails ... make that page your 'email bookmark'

I use Yahoo mail, don't think I've been to the Yahoo homepage more than twice.

I do use firefox as my browser but msn as my homepage. Will look at the ad on Ad Block plus. Thanks.
