Jules, sorry to hear your dog has a poorly paw. The honey dressings are called Activon Tuille (Primary wound dressing with Activon honey). The ones I have ar 10x10cm and I used to cut them into four pieces and use one each time. So that it didi not stick to the wound I used a wound protecting mesh called NA Ultra directly on the wound, then the honey dressing, then some gauze, soft cotton wrapping and then vet wrap. If it is an injusry to the paw, it is important not to wrap the wound too tightly, as it will be uncomfortable if it is too tight and then the dog will want it off. Perhaps you can get a cone collar from Pets at Home or your local pet shop and put it on when you have to go out and leave your dog. I did this and also left it on at night, after Keeva ate several bandages, then vomited them up and some was in her poo (yuk!). It can be quite dangerous for them to eat the soiled bandages, as it can spread infection into the gut or block the gut up. So teh cone collar is quite important. I know you can also get the blow up collars, but the dogs can often still get at their paws with those, so I have been told. Hope your dog heals quickly.
