Liver spots

Hi guys and gals. any ideas why my little hound has broken out in a flurry of liver spots ? Are they simply a sign of ageing ? TIA

Get him/her checked out. It can be a sign of Cushing's syndrome in small dogs. Is his/her tum somewhat bloated at all.

Hi Lottie, thanks for that, she is not bloated at all, she is in incredibly good health . Apart from these liver spots coming . She is eating drinking and all normally .

Probably just old age then, like me - I seem to have them on an increasing basis. Keep an eye on it. My yorkie had cushings and didn't show any other signs. If she gets any other symptoms, do see a vet, because Cushings is treatable. My dog was diagnosed because a small operation scar wouldn't heal up.
