me and my dippy dogs again!

I have 2 dogs mother and son.The bitch mounts the boy and moves like mating.Why does she do this?Has anyone elses dogs done this?The only reason i can think is she doing it to show shes dominant one.It can be very embarassing.  Oh shes been spayed by the way, boy dog hasnt. help please

You are right.  When a female dog does this it is a sign of domination.  It is very common.  My spayed bitch, who thinks she is the boss, often does it to our poor little Yorkie male (who has also been 'seen to' and wonders what on earth it's all about)

Don't worry about it,  just tell her 'no' firmly when she does it so she realises you don't approve!!

I have two shi-tzus half sisters ones six the other five. Both spayed. The five year old does the same only she starts on the older ones head and works her way down then quickly runs back to start the process again.Lulu the older one just continues to do what ever she is doing and ignores her. It can be very embarrasing if you have visitors
that would explain why my rabbits mount each other, they are both boys, they are trying to dominate each other then
