Daughter Coming Back From Her Dads With Fleas??

So few weeks ago my daughter came back from her dads with spots, I thought it may be chicken pox, took her doctors they said it was virus, Next time she went to her dads, came back with spots again. I took her doctors confirmed probably bites. He has two cats. So I text and explained the situation and if he could have a look and gave him advice on if they have fleas how to sort it. He denied they had fleas but later said to my daughter that he had sorted the flea situation and sprayed his house??? anyway she has gone the next time and came home with a flea under her top!!! I don't know what to do now, its upsetting her and me. I just wish he would sort it out, but we are not on good terms, his house is really dirty too, but that's another issue (she would never bath there, and wont eat certain things e.g microwave because dirty) its heartbreaking.

Can you tell him your daughter won't be going to see him again until he sorts out the fleas and dirt, or would that upset her too much?

You have to tell him that until he cleans up his house and gets it fumigated you will not be allowing your daughter to visit him at home. Your daughter's health is important and he should see that the filth and fleas are jeopardising that.

You need to talk to him as the mother and say it's unacceptable and until resolved then she won't be going over and he can take her out for the day instead and bring her home. Also tell him why she won't eat things from the microwave.

Advocat applied monthly is a very effective flea treament for cats as well. Has to be got grom vet.
